DRURY LANE
The New London Theatre is located on Drury Lane, a street synonymous with the world of entertainment. Drury Lane runs between Aldwych and High Holborn bisecting Covent Garden.
The northern part of Drury Lane is in the London Borough of Camden, and the southern part in the City of Westminster.
Drury Lane took its start from the west end of Wych Street, redeveloped in the later nineteenth century as Aldwych. The 'lane' then led to the house built by Sir John Drury, Knight of the Garter in Queen Elizabeth I's reign.
